Damage done to our earth

Environmental damage on our earth since industrial revolution in the 18th century has not yet concluded but keeps on moving faster than ever before. Breaking news that has taken us aback is reported recently in BBC, one of the broadcastings in Great Britain. The average amount of carbon dioxide emission, investigated in 2011, has reached a new record. With five percent higher amount of carbon dioxide than a year before, it is now alarming the world. This report, however, did not include others than the amount of greenhouse gas emitted while generating energies with fossil fuels. The total amount will be much more when it includes many other cases of carbon dioxide. The rate climbs very rapidly but shows no sign of coming to stop.

Carbon dioxide floating in the air of China counts for much. About 0.73 ton of anti- environmental elements were led out from each person in China, according to a study conducted in 2010. Moreover, the damage in the future seems likely to happen faster than right now. The picture of China in two decades was foretold by geo physicians. The index was around thirteen billion ton of carbon dioxide emitted.

Accordingly, it was a low energy efficiency that has made things worse and worse. A technology of using energy resources could not catch up with the speed of industrial developments.

A goal that has been set up to avoid such disaster has a leak on it. To stop the global temperature from increasing, they set up the maximum of two degree increase in Celsius. However, our effort to curb the global warming is suffering a setback. Instead, now it is heading towards the double target. Even two degrees in Celsius is not less harmful than four degrees is. They are same thing in that they both carry great danger. Allegedly, even an increase of two degrees in temperature every year is a risk. We may have to live in the land whose temperature has been increasing more and more annually. Could we breathe and adopt ourselves in such a place?
